Before hurricane Sandy & after...

As our leaves fall, trees are spotted with hornet nests.
I took the above photograph days before Sandy hit.
The one below, still hanging on tight, battered from the storm.

A stones throw away lives & landscapes have been changed forever.
Praying for every heart~

As a Floridian I feel for everyone there. I know what it's like.
I don't think anyone realizes what a hurricane means until you've been through one.
It's devastating .. I pray for all of the people up there.

Dear Michelle...I am so happy to hear that you are safe. I am ever grateful that we lost power for only a short while, and our landscape (sans a tree or two) survived as well.
Sending love and blessings from here...

Dear Michelle - I happened upon your lovely blog - been reading several of your posts. Love your birds and flowers and drawings. Just wonderful. I too am so overwhelmed for the folks that are suffering in this terrible hurricane. We were blessed as well because it was to come our way but it wasn't bad. Praying for everyone. Have a lovely day.
